Playoffs 2007-08. How Sweet It Is.

I woke up this morning (true story), feeling uninspired. But as my head rolled around my pillow trying to think of what to do today, I caught site of some memorabilia of a time when I interviewed someone from the NBA two years ago, and I realized something. Something that woke me up immediately.

I realized that it’s nearly the Playoffs. Now, doesn’t that get you excited? Is this mic on? Are you hearing me clearly? It’s . The . Playoffs.

First round potential match-ups are the Phoenix Suns and Utah Jazz, or Los Angeles Lakers and Dallas Mavericks, or San Antonio Spurs and Houston Rockets, and even the New Orleans Hornets and Denver Nuggets will be fantastic.

Personally, I think it’s gonna be Phoenix, LA then Spurs. Then its gonna be a toss up between New Orleans and Denver, with Chris Paul bringing on a show for the ages, both cementing his team’s entry into the top 8 while making a good argument for MVP.

And I don’t doubt it at all. That guy’s got game, he’s healthy and I’ve yet to see him shy away from the clutch. He’s even improved his teammate’s play, with David West averaging 20.3 pts and 9 rebounds a game, fulfilling his college phenom potential inspite of what are obviously maturity issues, occasionally losing it on the court and over – complaining.

Anyway here’s another video. KG and LeBron this time.:

I better get this site ready for that one. There’s gonna be a hell of a lot of game, and BallEx is gonna bring it. Man am I excited. Nothing but the thought of good game coming to get a guy off his ass.
